I am honored to be exhibiting 4 recent paintings in show titled Light and Color, Space and Place at the Rice Gallery in Westminster, Maryland. The exhibit is at McDaniel College and runs from Nov. 7-Dec. 8th. Gallery hours are M-F 10-4 pm and Saturdays from 12-5 pm.

I will be teaching a plein air painting and drawing class this summer through the College of Lake County in Grayslake,IL. The class is 8 weeks and starts 6/7, times are TWR 8-11:45 am. This class will introduce students to the practice of plein air landscape painting and drawing. Class sessions will be held outside on location around Lake County, weather permitting. Alla prima techniques will be taught and there will be an emphasis on working quickly. We'll work on small sized pieces to help with completing a work in one or two sittings. I am very pleased to be exhibiting two drawings in this annual juried exhibition at UNC Asheville. 269 Peterson and 4874 Dempster, conte and charcoal on drafting film, were both chosen to be included by the esteemed juror Catherine Murphy. Exhibition dates are January 18th-February 11th. A closing exhibition will be held on Feb. 11th from 6-8 pm.

I am honored to be exhibiting my painting, Hong Kong Chop Suey, oil on panel, 16 x 16 inches, 2021, in a juried group exhibition at Art Essex Gallery in Westport, CT. Show dates are Jan. 12-Feb. 5th. Opening reception is Saturday Jan. 15th from 4-7 pm.

I will be giving an artist talk on my work at UW Parkside in Kenosha, Wi on Tuesday October 21st at 3:30 pm. Location is the main stage in the Rita Tallent Picken Regional Center for the Arts and Humanities.
